The concept for this design was to create a central communal space to foster health interaction between students, and to build a stronger Mason Hall community by extension. Because Tobago is considered a relatively small island, special considerations were given to all materials that could stand up the ‘salty’ sea breezes that sweep across the island. Consideration was also given to the durability and sustainability of fixtures and fitting as the facility is public school.
